Fall Rendez-vous: The valley of the possible
The valley of the possible: the work of Camille Lefebvre
Date: October 7, 8.9, 10 at 7:30 and October 11 at 2 pm
Location: Monument-Lefebvre TheatreThe valley of the possible: the work of Camille Lefebvre is an original musical work for choir, soloists and orchestra. In fall 2014, the show was presented four times to sold-out theater Monument Lefebvre. It features a host of renowned Acadian artist Danny Boudreau, Lina Boudreau, Selby Evans, Christian “Kit” Goguen, Monette Gould, Mélanie LeBlanc, Ulric LeBlanc and Denis Richard. They are accompanied by Symphony New Brunswick under the direction of principal conductor, Michael Newnham.The show is inspired by the highlights of Camille Lefebvre father’s life, CSC, founder of Saint Joseph’s College in Memramcook, the first French-language institution of higher education in the Atlantic provinces and one of the key elements of the Renaissance Acadian. The show allows you to discover and rediscover the man behind this great visionary.
