
Great news for the future of music in New Brunswick
The Moncton Symphony Foundation is pleased to announce the 2013 Moncton Symphony Foundation Music Bursary recipients. The winners are very talented high school graduates who will be pursuing their studies in music at the university level. They are from left, cellist, singer, composer, Jaeyoung Chong, a graduate of Bernice MacNaughton High School, who will be continuing in music performance at the University of Ottawa; flautist Phoebe Robertson, of L’école secondaire Mathieu-Martin, who will also be pursuing a bachelors in music at the University of Ottawa; Danielle Richard, of Moncton High, who, besides her talents as a pianist, flautist, and guitarist, will be majoring in voice this fall at Mount Alison University. At right is Holly Waltz, long-time former president, and current treasurer, of the Moncton Symphony Foundation.
