Saturday, May 14 starting at 7:30 at the Marco Polo Cruise Terminal
Part social mixer, part celebration and, of course, part fund raiser, this event offers something for everyone.
From good food, to beautiful live music led by SNB’s concertmaster, David Adams; from a casino section to impromptu dance “lessons”, and a surprise visit from the traditional group Different Folk; this event has something for everyone
“At $85/ ticket, the cost of tickets to the event is as low as possible. We hope to see a big crowd supporting their Provincial Orchestra and having a great time. This is a way to show once again, the value of having professional musicians in the community. What could be more delightful than dancing, eating, chatting or toasting to the sounds of a live orchestra? It’s a bit like André Rieu without the hair” (Jennifer Grant, SNB GM)
We will have a great silent auction section, featuring some musically themed items and some surprise guests singing and animating to help the crowd enjoy, even if they choose not to dance. The dress for the event is up to you! Some of the ball room dancers will be dressing to “Swish” their way across the excellent dance floor, the orchestra will be embracing the André Rieu theme and others will undoubtedly favour the more traditional dress, be it kilt or cowboy boots.
Music is a part of our lives and this is a celebration of having a really great professional orchestra right here in NB and for your enjoyment on May 14 at the Marco Polo Cruise Terminal.
Be right there when we announce the SNB supporter of the year!
